Finally an Upgrade

Beggars can't be choosers when it comes to free forums, but after being very picky about what was available, the choice has been made to transfer our forum to a new one. Yep, I know.. more work involved, but hey.. it comes with some perks that Forumotion doesn't seem to want to take the time to install.

So what's new, besides the url?

Integrated Arcade
Large Gallery
And a few other nice things

The chatbox is not a basic component of the site, unlike Forumotion, but I'll try to keep on top of it if we start to have technical difficulties.

Sounds good Kyouri, i'm really amazed at how fast you were able to add everything after i joined today, honestly...it's amazing so far and you're doing a great job...can't wait to see all the new items go up

all the new additions sound great also, don't work too hard on stuff (again with the lecture...i know) please don't push it...personal health before all else! and we do hope that you will spread the work out more evenly to ease the stress (if only by a little) ok?

No worries on spreading the work out. It seems that this board allows me to set more permissions in various ways and for various things. So once it's up, and the members start transferring over, the work will definitely be spread out. Besides.. maybe Stan won't have a problem logging on here, since Forumotion never got around to correcting their problem.

That works. It is a promise. Consider last night a lesson learned. I had a bad day with multiple things go wrong, and instead of walking away after the 4th one, I kept on trying to where the 5th one upset me. So.. a good night sleep and I found this place when I woke up.. after doing 2 hours of research looking for the best one.

This is a great site indeed =D...please don't let anything else upset you too much in the future...it makes us, as members, worry but more importantly...it makes you upset....which leads to frustration...which ultimately leads to more stress.....

I'm fine.. really.  Right now, I'm trying to figure out a few of the basics around this place. I'm trying to figure out how to get a workable color scheme, but for now, we're gonna use this one because it separates the comments on the posts better than that plain white did. I'm also finding it odd that your guys avatars have scrollbars underneath them. The max size is 150x200.. how difficult is that for a forum.. that says it resized the images.. to actually resize and not add a scrollbar?? Just odd to me. Some things to get used to, but after running that other place, it's not gonna take long to get the hang of this one. Oh.. and I wish the avatars were above the information, not below it.

lol.. figures. Yea I see the one under my sig on my profile page, but don't see one under my avatar in the posts.. but I do for you and Brute, both.. lol  Silly little odd things to get used to, I suppose.

And one more thing... *feeling like 'Uncle' from Jackie Chan cartoon* ...I would like for there to be a reply box already available at the bottom of the screen instead of having to click 'reply' all the time. No biggie, tho.. I'm sure just one of those things I've probably overlooked.
